Petersen NCHS Inc. Page 64: Saddlebags, Quartermaster Stock No. 34-S-258.  These saddlebags may be used with saddles, packers'-riding, full-rigged and skeleton-rigged.  For issue to pack troops.

Marked US and with what appears to be a faint inspector's mark.  Dated 1945.  These are in excellent soft and supple condition but could use a good oiling.  Saddlebags are complete with all straps and laces.   This is the last model of US saddlebags.
