Original M1832  Artillery Short Sword with Early Reproduction Scabbard

The sword was manufactured by Ames and is dated 1842.   It is in overall very good condition.  Inspected by JCB and the crossguard is marked W.A.T.   The steel blade shows very little wear and the brass handle has excellent fish scale designs with eagles appearing on both sides.  Leather and brass scabbard is an excellent older reproduction.
